Additionally, in 2018, the company became a member of the Middle East Investor Relations Association, aiming to enhance the efficiency and reputation of capital markets in the region.
Presently, DAMAC Properties stands as one of the largest licensed real estate development firms in the UAE. Moreover, the company is renowned for its philanthropic endeavors, actively supporting initiatives endorsed by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and providing aid to the Emirates Red Crescent (UAE branch of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies).
For many years, the developer has been giving significant donations to different organizations. For example, in April 2020, the Hussain Sajwani-DAMAC Foundation donated AED 1,000,000 (USD 272,300) to help people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in the UAE. This foundation is a joint charity project of DAMAC Group and its founder. It focuses on training and developing skills to boost profits and community involvement in the economy and social life.
In 2018, the developer signed a hospitality cooperation agreement with DICO International. DAMAC Properties is forming important partnerships with famous brands like Versace Home, Roberto Cavalli, Paramount Hotels & Resorts, Fendi Casa, Rotana, Trump Organization, and Radisson. In 2020, International Business Magazine recognized DAMAC Properties as the most socially responsible real estate company in the UAE. Today, it remains the leading developer in the country.
