Majid Al Futtaim Group is a big company started back in 1992 and based in Dubai. It has four parts: MAF Ventures, MAF Properties, MAF Retail, and MAF Trust. The person who started it all and still runs it is Majid Al Futtaim, who's one of the richest people in the world.

This group builds and runs huge shopping centers in different countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Some of the biggest ones are Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates in the UAE. They also have many other projects going on in places like Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Lebanon, and Bahrain.

The developer is also creating integrated communities that combine living, leisure and working in one place. These include:

• Cafes, restaurants, cinemas
• Marinas for yachts

Majid Al Futtaim has the rights to the famous French brand Carrefour, known for its hypermarkets and supermarkets. This allows them to reach customers in Central Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa. They also own fun places like Magic Planet, shopping centers like City Center, and cinemas called VOX Cinemas.
